📏 Marllex Plywood in the Rajkot Range

Marllex is one of the branded plywood lines Mahadev Traders stocks as an authorised dealer, alongside Zevik and Simson. Branded stock matters most on projects where sheets are pressed with laminate or cut on a machine, because a batch that varies in thickness or density shows up in the finished unit.

The Marllex premium plywood held in Rajkot runs 6mm, 9mm, 12mm and 18mm, across 6x3, 6x4, 7x3, 7x4, 8x3 and 8x4 ft sheets, on a Gurjan face. Cores are red-and-red, red-and-white alternate, and a 15-ply red-and-white construction in the heavier boards.

Marllex is the one branded line here stocked in both grades: MR (semi-waterproof) for dry interior furniture, and PF, 100% BWP — phenol-formaldehyde bonded, boiling water proof — for kitchen carcasses, sink runs, bathroom vanities and any position where the panel will meet water. Specify which one you need when you order; the same brand and thickness covers both.

📐 Choosing a Thickness

For wardrobe and cabinet carcasses 18mm is the usual choice; 12mm suits shelving and drawer sides; 6mm and 9mm are backing and panel infill. Sheet size is worth choosing as deliberately as thickness — starting from a 6x3 or 7x3 closer to the finished part cuts waste against cutting everything from 8x4.

📏 Stock Sizes and Special Orders

Held as regular stock: 6mm, 9mm, 12mm and 18mm in 6x3, 6x4, 7x3, 7x4, 8x3 and 8x4 ft sheets. These are on the floor in Rajkot and go out with the order.

Available on special request: 16mm, 19mm and 25mm. These are not carried as regular stock, but we arrange them to order — give us the size and the quantity with your enquiry and the lead time will be confirmed alongside the rate.

📦 Ordering & Pricing

Minimum order: one sheet. There is no minimum order quantity here — you can buy a single sheet or a full truck load, and you are welcome to take one sheet first to check the material against your own job before committing to the sheets you actually need.

Firm rates are quoted on enquiry. Beyond the indicative band above, the price of any given sheet moves with brand, thickness, grade, current batch, order quantity and the delivery destination, so a fixed number on this page would be out of date within weeks and wrong for most orders anyway. Call or send a WhatsApp message with the thickness, quantity and delivery point and you will get the current best rate for that specific order.

Indicative rate band. As a broad reference across the whole range, MR grade runs about ₹1–100 per square foot and BWP / IS 710 grade about ₹1–500 per square foot. That span covers everything from the thinnest commercial board to the heaviest premium one, so treat it as a sanity check on a budget rather than a quotation — where your job lands inside it depends on the brand, thickness and grade you actually need.
